Independent Schools Victoria is collaborating with Deakin University to introduce a suite of professional practice credentials in:

• Collaboration

• Communication

• Leading and developing people

• Self management

To earn a credential, you submit a portfolio of evidence with a reflective narrative and video testimony that demonstrate the skills and knowledge you’ve already gained in the workplace.

Along with satisfying the credential’s criteria, your submission needs to demonstrate that you’re working at the required level of autonomy, influence and complexity. These are called the dimensions of the credential.  A portfolio of evidence usually takes approximately four to eight hours to compile.
