She has chaired a variety of organisations in the not-for-profit area, including in health and industrial relations, and has significant experience in practical governance matters.

Michelle has been at the forefront of significant change and development in education in Victoria and nationally. To help Member Schools meet these challenges, she has focused ISV on research, governance and relations with governments and media.
