This one day event will give early career teachers or those returning from extended leave a kickstart in planning, teaching and assessment to equip them to excel in their role.

Presenter information
Kaisu Tonkyra
Kaisu has broad experience in curriculum development and design, school management, and student and staff wellbeing. She holds a Master of Education from the University of Helsinki and Diploma of Counselling from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. Currently Kaisu is a coach, mentor, homeroom teacher and Curriculum Specialist. Kaisu has worked as a Learning Support and Extension teacher and a Digital Technologies and Library Specialist Teacher.
Rebecca Fiala
Rebecca has organised educational tours, competitions and leadership training events locally and internationally. Her passion is giving students a voice in their learning and the life-long skills and creativity to pursue their interests. Rebecca holds a Masters of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. She is currently a Foundation Teacher and Curriculum Specialist.
